What's in a LittleKits kit?

Every kit is two printable pages: an outer cutout sheet with all the labeled paper parts (head, body, arms, legs, etc.), and an inner learning page with fun facts, step-by-step build instructions, an open-ended activity prompt, and an age + difficulty badge.

What ages are the kits for?

Kids 3–8. Each topic comes in two age tiers: 3–5 (fewer, larger pieces, pre-marked folds, grown-up help) and 6–8 (finer cuts, multi-step assembly, mostly independent build).

What do I need to print one?

Any home printer, plain A4 or US Letter paper, scissors, and a glue stick or sticky tape. That's the whole kit.

Can I make a kit on any topic?

Yes — browse our growing library of ready-made topics, or type any custom topic when you create a kit and our AI illustrates it from scratch.

What file formats do I get?

Both. Every kit comes as a combined 2-page PDF and as individual high-res PNGs for the outer cutout sheet and the inner learning page. Download whichever suits the printer or activity you're planning.

What paper works best?

Standard 80–100 gsm printer paper is fine. Bumping up to 120–160 gsm card stock makes the finished build a lot sturdier if your printer supports it.

Do I need a color printer?

Color looks best — the illustrations are designed to delight. Black-and-white prints still work as a colour-it-in build, especially for the 3–5 age tier.

Are my kits saved?

Yes. Every kit you generate is saved to your account under My Kits — there's nothing to manage, just come back whenever you want to reprint.

Can I re-download a kit?

Any time, as often as you like. Open the kit from My Kits and download the PDF or either PNG page again.

Can I delete a kit?

Accepted Answer

Yes — hit the trash icon on any kit card in your library to remove it permanently. This can't be undone, but you can always regenerate the same topic.

Does deleting a kit give me back a free download?

Accepted Answer

No. Free download credits are consumed when a kit is generated, not when it's stored, so deleting doesn't restore credits. Upgrade to Builder or Mastermind any time for more generations.

How does the 3-free-kits offer work?

When you sign up you get 3 kit downloads on us — no credit card required. Use them on any topics, any ages. Upgrade to Builder or Mastermind if you're hooked.

What's the difference between Builder and Mastermind?

Builder is $9.99/month and gives you 20 kit generations per month, high-resolution 2K artwork, and individual PNG page downloads. Mastermind is $19.99/month and adds unlimited kit generations plus a priority generation queue — best for households or small studios that print a lot.

What happens if I hit my 20-kit Builder limit?

You'll be prompted to either wait until the next billing cycle or upgrade to Mastermind for unlimited. Your saved library and earlier kits stay accessible either way.

How do I cancel?

From your Account page — one click. You keep access until the end of the current billing period, then drop back to the Free tier with your library intact.

Not yet — a dedicated Classroom plan with teacher seats, shared collections, and bulk generation is on the roadmap. For now, Mastermind gives a single teacher unlimited kits, which works well for one classroom or small after-school programs.

We use an image AI model fine-tuned for clean, printable, kid-friendly illustration, paired with an age-appropriate text model for facts and instructions. Every kit is generated fresh for your topic.

Is the content safe for kids?

Topic and language guardrails are built into how kits are generated, and prompts are scoped to age-appropriate learning content for ages 3–8. If you ever see something that doesn't feel right, email support@littlekits.com.au and we'll act on it.
